NovaCloud provides Sign Sign-On (SSO) integration for user authentication via OpenID Connect (OIDC) on the Microsoft identity platform also known as Azure Active Directory or Entra ID.
OpenID Connect (OIDC) extends the OAuth 2.0 authorization protocol for use as an authentication protocol. OIDC enables single sign-on (SSO) into NovaCloud by using a security token called an ID token.

Protocol flow: Sign-in
The following diagram shows the OpenID Connect sign-in flow used to authenticate a user and log them into NovaCloud using the email address returned in the ID token if it exists in NovaCloud.
