1.Select a file or multiple files and drag and drop them anywhere on your
2.When your files begin to upload, a progress bar will pop up in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. Do NOT proceed with the import process until all of your files are fully uploaded. If you proceed before the files are completely uploaded, the files will be incomplete, resulting in corrupt file errors. Note that sometimes when you import a large quantity of files, the Import wizard will open up. Even if the files are listed in the wizard, check the progress bar to make sure that every file is completely uploaded before proceeding. Note Files that have been uploaded remain in your Import External Documents wizard until you complete the import process or delete the files. 3.Once the document is imported you can rename it, change the revision number, select a classification (see Document Properties), and assign an approver for the document. (See Workflow for more information.) 4.Click the 'Next' Arrow. 5.You will be presented with this screen. If you would like the assigned document approvers to be notified via email that there are documents waiting to be approved, tick the box next to Import with 'Waiting Approval' status and send 'Document Waiting Approval' email notifications. If you do not want this option to be enabled, leave the box unticked. Note that if you do not enable Import with 'Waiting Approval' status the document/s will be imported with the Newly Imported status. 6.Click the 'Next' Arrow and your files will be imported. Once the import is finished, select the 'Finish' button.

Files that have been uploaded remain in your Import External Documents wizard until you complete the import process or delete the files.
If you exit the Import External Documents wizard before completing the import process you will be presented with this dialogue box: Select Yes if you want the files to be removed from
Select No if you want the files to remain in the Import External Documents wizard. The files will be stored in the wizard until you import or delete them.
Select Cancel to stay in the Import External Documents wizard.
