When you open NovaCore, the Login window will open up. From this window you can do several things:
•Log into NovaCore •Launch Remote Support •See how many NovaCore licences your company has, how many of those licences are in use at the time of logging in and who is using them.

Username and PasswordWhen you first log into NovaCore, use the default user name and password: •Username: RTOADM •Password: MANAGER (note that this must be UPPER CASE)
To change the password once you have logged into NovaCore see Change Password.
Connection ProfileThe Connection Profile defines the connection settings to the database. These are usually configured automatically during setup. In a multi-server environment you can use the drop-down arrow to select which database installation to connect to.
![]()
If, due to network restrictions or firewalls, the Connection Profile cannot be found NovaCore will use the settings that are the most likely to match the connection profile settings. Instead of the Connection Profile you will see the Database server and filename. This should not affect login and you can login as usual. However if the settings are not correct or have changed check with your IT staff what to enter in these fields to successfully login.
LicencesThe Licence button shows how many NovaCore licences your company has and how many of them are in use at the time of logging in. Select the Licence button to see who in your company is currently logged into NovaCore.
Sometimes the Licence button may read INVALID. If this is the case, you will not be able to log in to NovaCore and must contact your NovaCore administrator.
If your licence is due to expire, a warning is displayed on the login screen as in the example below. The warning will start showing 30 days before licence expiry. Select Click here to renew now to renew the licence.
Remote SupportThe lifebelt icon is for remote support.

The remote support feature enables a member of the NovaCore team to see your screen during a support call. Select the remote support icon and give the displayed ID number to the NovaCore team member. |
